Summer is the season for weddings, music festivals and flower crowns. Happily, flower crowns require very little effort and materials to make and fynbos makes for both a stunning and hardy crown.

Follow the simple tutorial below to create your own - don’t be afraid to play around with different flowers and greens!

Materials needed:

  • Fairly thick florists wire
  • Green florists tape
  • Scissors

  • Bend wire into circle and cover with florists tape.
  • Choose flowers and greens with fairly fine leaves and blooms and cut them fairly short.

Make these into small individual bunches and secure each with florists tape.

Attach each individual bunch onto wire frame with each overlapping the previous one.

And voila!
